At Tigertail’s we specialize in guided airboat tours through the heart of the Everglades. Our experienced guides take you on an exciting airboat ride through grand open areas and sawgrass trails to hammocks (or tree islands) that have been passed down through generations of the Tigertail family. Operating out of the Miccosukee reservation close to Miami, we are one of only four companies allowed to run in Water Conservation Area 3a, and the only one to offer private tours. On our hammock, which was originally used as a hunting camp by the Tigertails, we raise young gators and turtles as well as care for, rehabilitate and relocate abandoned, injured and “nuisance” animals. . Here you will experience the Everglades first hand as you handle baby alligators and turtles, and learn about the wildlife, the history of the area and the proud people who inhabit it. www.tigertailairboattours.com/
